What to look for in an HVAC company?

Quick Service

Does this HVAC company serve their customers quickly? Or do they leave you stuck waiting to get your air conditioner fixed while your family is steaming because it is 85 degrees in your house? Lots of HVAC companies will sell you a yearly "membership" to have access to their priority service. That is ridiculous! You should not have to line their pockets with up to $40 monthly just to have "quicker" response time. We do not implement this practice. You get our prompt service for FREE. We often can get to service calls same day or next day. Google lets you filter reviews by keywords, so make sure to look into the service keyword when choosing an HVAC company.

Unrealistic Marketing Offers

Have you ever seen a claim on a billboard or at a football game that you know is too good to be true? Free furnace? Free air conditioner? It doesn't take a genius to know nothing is really free! Why do companies advertise like this? Why do they have to reel people in with these ridiculous, unrealistic offers? Our offers are simple and easy to understand. No crazy gimmicks.

Quality of Work

When you hire an HVAC company to work for you, you should expect that the work is quality and what you paid for. Often times, companies will try to cut corners to save time. An example of this is ductwork. Do our competitors seal their ductwork? Ductwork has to be sealed in order to maximize air volume to the registers. We seal ALL of our ductwork with what we call "pookie". It is a thick white paste that ensures all of our joints and sealed and leak free.

Sleazy Sales Tactics

Will HVAC companies fix your old system? Or do they just recommend replacement? Lots of companies would rather replace your system and line their pockets in the process rather than fix you up for a couple hundred bucks. We always recommend fixing what is currently installed, as long as it is the most cost effective fix. Another thing- will they send you a "salesman" that just wants to sell you a new system or a Certified Technician who is there to fix your problem? Why do companies want to send you a salesman for your HVAC system? Do they not train their technicians on how to recommend the correct course of action? These salesman are trained to run you through the ringer every way they can! At Andrews Enterprise we DO NOT have salesman, just two technicians that will advise you with over 30 years of combined experience.

Customer Support

Will that HVAC company support you after your service or sale? Often times companies will sell you a brand spanking new system for top dollar, and then leave you stranded when it breaks down a year later! Just check the reviews! Many companies in the Greater Lafayette Area have bad reviews complaining about their customer service. Some of them won't even uphold their warranty! Some don't even offer a labor warranty over a year. Why would they only offer such a short warranty period? We offer 12 Year Parts And Labor on our replacements. We use quality materials, strong equipment, and best practices to make sure when you get your system replaced, you don't see us for a long long time.
